Rowing Heads To Boston For Four-School Meet

AMHERST, Mass. - Fresh off their home meet with Connecticut Thursday, the UMass women's rowing team will travel to Boston for a four-school meet with Boston University, Northeastern, and Brown on Saturday. The meet will begin with the Varsity Eight race at 9 a.m. 
For the Minutewomen, this will be the second time in as many weeks that they will race on the Charles River course after they faced off against Boston College, MIT, and Dartmouth on April 4 when the Varsity Four took home a gold medal and the Second Varsity Eight added a silver medal to lead UMass rowers.

Checking the Forecast: Saturday's weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a high temperature of 62 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be max out at 13 miles per hour in an east-northeast direction, according to Weather.com
Recent News: On Thursday, April 16, UMass hosted UConn in the first home meet of the spring on the Connecticut River course. The Minutewomen were victorious in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, and the Varsity Four events. Full recap from Thursday's race can be found here:
Up Next: The Minutewomen will enjoy two weeks off before heading to Camden, New Jersey on May 2 to defend their Atlantic 10 title at the Atlantic Championships.
