UMass Hits The Road For First Time This Season

AMHERST, Mass -- Following a week off, the Massachusetts men's soccer team will pen a four-game road stretch at Adelphi on Saturday. Kickoff at Motamed Field in Garden City, N.Y. is set for 1 p.m.
UMass is 2-0-1 on the season with 1-0 victories over Delaware and Vermont, and a 1-1 tie with Harvard. The Minutemen are ranked eighth in the latest NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region poll.
Adelphi enters the match winless on the year with an 0-4-0 record. Following 1-0 defeats to Iona and at Fordham, the Panthers fell to 3-1 at High Point and 4-2 against Radford last weekend.Adelphi a NCAA Division I independent program in men's soccer.
This marks the second all-time meeting between the schools. Adelphi ended UMass' season back in 1977 with a 1-0 victory in the ECAC Tournament in West Point, N.Y.

UMass will travel to Hartford on Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
