Misho Named Co-A-10 Pitcher of The Week

AMHERST, Mass. - UMass junior right-handed pitcher Glen Misho was named co-Atlantic 10 pitcher of the week, the conference office announced on Monday. It marks Misho's first career weekly award and is the first honor for a member of the Minutemen this season.
To open up UMass' trip to the RussMatt Invitational, Misho tossed his first career complete game, pitching the Minutemen to a 2-1 victory over Toledo, the squad's first win of the year. Misho scattered eight hits and allowed just one run while recording eight strikeouts to two walks. Out of his 111 pitches in the contest, 76 were thrown for strikes.
Through two appearances, both starts, Misho currently holds a 1-1 record and a 3.21 earned-run average. In 14.0 innings of work, he has nine strikeouts and opponents are hitting .283 against him.
