Baseball's Game At Central Connecticut Washed Out

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The UMass baseball team's game scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, Apr. 21, against Central Connecticut State at 3 p.m. at Beehive Stadium has been postponed due to rain. The contest has not yet been rescheduled. On Friday, Apr. 24, the Minutemen will be back in action when the team travels to Philadelphia, Pa., for a three-game Atlantic 10 series against La Salle.
UMass is currently 14-19 overall and has won eight of its last 11 games, including the last four straight. The team will enter its series against the Explorers holding a 7-8 mark in A-10 play. La Salle is 15-19 on the year, 4-10 in the A-10 and is slated to play tonight at Maryland at 5 p.m. and tomorrow at Coppin State at 3 p.m.
