Minutewomen Swimming Named CSCAA Academic All-America Team

Amherst, Mass.- The University of Massachusetts women's swimming and diving team achieved the honor of CSCAA Academic All-America Swimming Team for the Winter/Spring semester of 2001. To qualify for this honor the grade point average of the entire swimming and diving team, including all members on the eligibility list, must average at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. Three categories are recognized including Commendable (2.80 or better), Excellent (3.00 or better) and Superior (3.25 or better). This year, 200 teams met this criteria.
