Joe Rahal is a graduate assistant, primarily working with special teams for Massachusetts football. He joined the Minutemen staff for the 2024 season. 

Prior to UMass, Rahal spent two years as a student assistant for the University of Central Florida football program. He worked mainly with special teams and tight ends. 

Before becoming a student assistant at UCF, Rahal was a two-year member of the Knights football team as a long snapper. 

Rahal, a Vero Beach, Florida, native, earned his bachelor’s in kinesiology from UCF in December of 2023. He is currently working towards his master’s from UMass with an expected graduation date of 2026.
