Caleb Lambert

Caleb Lambert joined the Massachusetts staff as a Sports Performance Coach in January 2026. 

As a part-time strength and conditioning coach at the College of Holy Cross for over a year, Lambert worked closely with the men and women’s swim and dive programs, overseeing programming and running weightroom sessions. He also assisted the field hockey, softball and men and women’s basketball strength and conditioning programs, along with coordinating training schedules, overseeing the sports science integration of GPS Data for the WLAX program, meeting with sports medicine regularly to discuss injuries and RTP programs and assisting with youth summer program during the summer months; including speed development, weight room instruction and conditioning. 

Prior to his time at Holy Cross, Lambert spent six months at Rhode Island as a strength and conditioning intern. While there, he assisted with coaching and administering programs to various teams, ran drills and warm-ups during sessions and learned various maintenance and weight room upkeep. 

He also spent time at Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech High School as a strength and conditioning coach from May 2024 until January 2026, where he programmed and administered strength and conditioning services for all athletic programs from the freshman to varsity level, worked in conjunction with an athletic trainer to establish rehab programs and assisted in weight room scheduling for teams both in season and off season. 

Lambert graduated from Rhode Island in 2024 with a bachelors in Kinesiology, and completed his masters at Merrimack with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science in 2025. 

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as well as International Sports Sciences Association's Certified Personal Trainer (ISSA CPT). Lambert is also certified in CPR, First Aid and AED training.
