2023-24: Indoor: Earned 3rd place in the 4x400 meter relay (O’Leary, Hanafin, Headley-Mawasi, Murphy) with a time of 3:55.41 minutes at the UCONN Husky Challenge (12/7-8)...Placed 6th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.66 at the URI Coaches Invitational (2/10)... Placed 6th in the 4x400 meter relay (Mullady, Richardson, Hanafin, McBride) with a time of 3:56.21 and set a new personal record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.91 seconds at the NEICAAA Indoor Championships (3/1-2)... Also ran a personal record in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.06 seconds at the Boston University Battle in Beantown (1/20).
Outdoor: Earned 1st place in the long jump and a new personal record with a leap of 5.66 meters at the Holy Cross Invitational (4/20)... Earned 1st in the 4x100 meter relay (Headley-Mawasi, Hanafin, Gorgenyi, Murphy) with a time of 48.14 seconds, earned 1st place in the 4x400 meter relay (Witt, Headley-Mawasi, Murphy, Hanafin) with a time of 3:53.66 minutes, and placed 6th in the long jump with a leap of 5.46 meters at the UMASS Flagship Opener (4/7)... Earned 1st place in the 4x400 meter relay (Beckman, Hanafin, Harrison, Witt) with a time of 4:00.91 minutes, Earned 2nd place in the 4x100 meter relay (Murphy, Hanafin, Wood, Hernandez) with a time of 48.99 seconds, and earned 2nd place in the long jump with a leap of 5.62 meters at the UMASS Commonwealth Invitational (4/13)... Earned 1st place in the 4x100 meter relay (Allen, Hanafin, Murphy, Gorgenyi) with a time of 48.56 seconds and placed 4th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.62 seconds at the UNH Pre-Conference Invitational (4/26-27)... Placed 6th in the long jump with a leap of 5.35 meters at the Black & Gold Invitational (3/29-30).

Before UMass: Attended Burlington High School where she won 16 varsity letters and was a captain of the track team her junior and senior year… Holds 13 school records… Has the league record in the 100 and 300… Set a facility, league and divisional state record in the long jump… Won the Coaches and Players Award… Named as the League MVP while being a League All-Star and a part of the League All-Conference team.

Personal: From Burlington, Mass…. Daughter to David and Lori… Sister to Rose, Hope, David, Faith, Brendan, Bridie, Annie, and Michael… Father David played football at UMass Lowell.
