Spring 2016: Tallied a first place victory in the Second Varsity 8+ in a dual regatta at Connecticut (4/2) ... Sat two seat in the Second Varsity 8+ at the inaugural Doc Hosea Regatta in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (4/3) ... Took home a gold medal in the Second Varsity 8+ at the Knecht Cup after a 6:47.17 finish. The crew opened up the weekend with a first-place win in Heat 3 at 7:24.91, followed by a second-place finish at 6:54.83 in Semifinal 3, good to advance to the Grand Final round (4/10) ... McGill also finished third in the Singles event at the Knecht Cup in 8:48.95 (4/10) ... Finished second in the Second Varsity 8+ with a time of 6:43.8 at the Four-School Regatta on the Charles River over Dartmouth and Boston University. Northeastern picked up the victory in a time of 6:39.6 (4/17).
Fall 2015: Tallied fifth place in the 1x A Final at the Collegiate Small Boat Challenge with a time of 8:50.95 (10/31) ... Qualified for the 1x A Final at the Collegiate Small Boat Challenge with a fourth place finish and time of 7:57.37 (10/30) ... Earned a silver medal at the Head of the Charles in the Lightweight 4+ with a time of 19:41.2, good for an automatic reentry for UMass in the Lightweight 4+ at the 2016 Head of the Charles next season (10/18) ... Paired up with Carly Zanatta in the Open Lightweight 2x and took the gold medal with a time of 17:16.17 at Head of the Oklahoma (10/4)
BEFORE UMASS: Member of the Southern California Scullers ... Was homeschooled ... Is a decorated sculler from Southern California with ambitions of competing at the International and Olympic level in the future ... Took first in the Women's 2x and fourth in the Women's 4x at the Youth Nationals during her freshman year, when she attended Sculling Selection Camp ... Added a quartet of first place spots at Club Nationals during her sophomore year, when she also one bronze medal finish and earned gold at the Canadian Henley Regatta ... Added second places at the U23 Women's Lightweight 2x Trials and Women's 2x Junior Trials as a sophomore Missed her junior competitive season due to injury and returned with a sixth place finish in the Women's Lightweight 2x at Junior Nationals as a senior ... Ranked fourth at High Performance Camp in 2014, and first on the water ... Took third in the 2x and fourth in 1x at the 2015 Covered Bridge Regatta.
