Kelly Glennon joins the Massachusetts rowing staff as a volunteer assistant for the 2021-22 season.

The Barnstable native spent the past four seasons rowing for the Minutewomen. In 2021 Glennon earned All-Conference First Team honors and finished in the V8 with a fourth-place time of 6:59.328 at the Atlantic 10 Championships.

In the fall of 2019, she began the season riding seven seat in the second-place Open 8+ (16:18.32) at the Head of the Riverfront Regatta, and also raced in the Open 2x alongside Abigail Belozerova to a seventh place finish. Â The spring portion of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the Spring of 2019, the team Reached the Varsity Eight Grand Final at the Atlantic 10 Championship (5/18), finishing fifth, and won the Petite Final in the Varsity Eight at the Dad Vail Regatta, nipping conference rival Fordham in a race that came down to the wire. At the Knecht Cup, Glennon raced the Varsity Eight to sixth in the Petite Final and won the pair at the Knecht Cup. During the fall of 2018 UMass took 17th in the Championship Fours at the Head of the Charles, rowed to a fourth place finish in the Varsity Four at the Hadley Chase Regatta, and finished fourth in the Collegiate 2x A Final (7:53.42) at the Small Boat Challenge.
As a sophomore in the spring of 2018, Massachusetts capped the Spring in the Varsity Eight with silver (6:30.092) in the Grand Final at the Dad Vail Regatta, advanced to the V8+ Grand Final at the Atlantic 10 Championships and, ultimately, finished second. The Minutewomen earned placement in the Grand Final by way of winning the early morning heat and took fourth in the Varsity Eight Petite Final (6:58.48) at the Knecht Cup. They took fifth in the V8+ Petite Final (6:50.65) against a challenging field at the Doc Hosea Regatta and claimed bronze in the Varsity Eight Grand Final (7:34.12) at the Cooper Sprints to open the spring season.
During the fall 2017 season, Massachusetts wrapped up the Fall in the Second Varsity Four at the Head of the Fish (14:47.77). Glennon also helped the Second Varsity Eight to second place (12:40.84) at the Head of the Fish. She was also a part of the Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Four at the Hadley Chase and took second in the 2x B final (8:14.78) at the Small Boat Challenge.
Glennon wrapped up the spring season in the Second Varsity 8+ at the NCAA Championships as a freshman. That boat finished third in the D Final (7:14.629) and helped the Minutewomen clinch gold at the Atlantic 10 Championships as part of the Varsity 4+ which won the Grand Finale (8:05.27). At the Knecht Cup, she raced with the Second Varsity 8+ which was third in the Petite Final (7:01.33) and was fourth in her 1x flight (8:57.98). At the Doc Hosea Regatta, her group was third in the V8+ Petite Final (6:54.62). Glennon opened the spring season at the Murphy Cup with a second-place effort (6:49.13) in the Grand Final.
