Grace Perechinsky is entering her first season in Amherst as an assistant coach. A four-year starting catcher and first basewoman for St. Bonaventure University, Perechinsky adds two years of coaching experience as a graduate assistant for Jacksonville University.

Grace made an immediate impact as a rookie for the Bonnies, batting .348 with 13 doubles and 27 RBIs. Tallying the second-highest single season doubles totals in program history, Perechinsky slugged her way to an Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection. She finished her career starting 161 games, totaling 115 hits, 15 home runs, 75 RBIs, in addition to a 97.2% fielding percentage.

Grace earned the opportunity to represent her home country of Russia, joining the national softball team in 2021. During her multi-year stint, she competed in the European Championship and helped Russia claim bronze in the European Cup.

Perechinsky joined the Jacksonville University softball staff in the fall of 2022, earning her master's in business administration. As a graduate assistant, she helped the staff amass 51 wins across two seasons, including the program's first winning season since 2021.
