After two seasons pitching for the Minutemen, Tommy McDonald will enter his first year as an undergraduate assistant coach for UMass baseball in 2016. McDonald made 18 appearances in his career for the Minutemen, all in relief, and posted a 5.68 earned run average over 25.1 innings with 12 strikeouts.

McDonald, a 2013 graduate of Boston College High School, is majoring in sociology.
