2023 – Graduate Student: Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team … College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team … Made 48 appearances on the season, splitting time at first base and as a DH, earning the start in 40 … Recorded a .327 batting average, the second-best on the team, and a .988 fielding percentage … Totaled 33 runs, 49 hits, including eight doubles and four home runs, and 26 RBI in 150 at bats … Hit a career-high four hits, including a home run vs. No. 9 Boston College (4/4) with a season-high three runs and three RBI … Registered a career-best three doubles, tying the individual single game record, at UConn (3/22) … Had 14 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI contests throughout the season … Went on a 15-game reached base streak on the year.
2022 – Redshirt Junior: Started 31 of the 40 games he played in at first base … Posted a .258 batting average with 22 RBIs … Recorded 31 hits with three doubles and four home runs … Had a season fielding average of .967… In his first game of the season, Luttazi went yard twice, including his first collegiate grand slam, and tallied a career best six RBIs in a win at Georgetown (3/4) … Had a trio of hits which brought in two runs at UConn (4/19) … Homered and plated a pair of runs to help defeat Sacred Heart (4/20).
2021 – Redshirt Freshman: Made 41 appearances on the season at first base, earning the start in 39 … Finished the year with a .223 batting average and a .982 fielding percentage … Was third on the team in RBIs with a total of 17 and had five multi-RBI games … Tallied 29 hits, including four doubles and three home runs, tying for third on the team … Recorded 14 runs on the year … Went 2-for-3 at UConn (4/3), including a double and a home run, and drove in three runs, while earning a run … Had a home run both at Rhode Island (4/24) and at Sacred Heart (4/27) … Totaled a season-high 14 putouts in game one of the doubleheader at Rhode Island (4/23).
2020 – Sophomore: Started at first base in seven games and hit .312 with a double and two runs scored ... Hit safely in his first three games played ... Doubled as part of a 2-for-2 day with a run scored at Delaware State (2/22) ... Also scored in the series finale at Delaware State (2/23) ... Singled in the middle game at No. 4 Georgia (3/7) ... Season was cut short due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 – Freshman: Was a member of the active roster but did not see game action.
Before UMass: Attended Franklin High School in Franklin, Massachusetts… Played three years under head coach Zach Brown… Won the Division 1A “Super 8” State Championship in his senior season… Earned the Ken Dacko Baseball Award for Hard work and Determination in his senior year… also played one year of football… Four year Honor Roll, National Honor Society member, also a member of the Science and Spanish National Honor Society.
