Daniel Malone of the Springfield Republican spoke with UMass football head coach Mark Whipple following a Tuesday, Aug. 5 team practice and wrote that the Minutemen will not wear the black uniforms used during some games over the previous two seasons in 2014. Instead, according to Whipple, Massachusetts will mix and match its maroon and white gear each week.
