Grizzlies Invite Tony Gaffney To Camp

Marc Stein of ESPN is reporting that the Memphis Grizzlies have invited UMass basketball alum Tony Gaffney to their training camp. They are taking their camp on the road this season in an attempt to expand their fan base outside of western Tennessee. The squad will workout at Vanderbilt's Memorial Gymnasium from Oct. 1-5. Media Day is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 30 in Memphis.

Hearing: With only 13 guaranteed deals, Grizzlies will bring vet forward Tony Gaffney to training camp to give him a shot at a roster spot

Gaffney has already signed this season w/Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany but has clause in contract which allows him to take NBA camp invite
