Jacovina Named Assistant At Rutgers

Inside Lacrosse reports that former UMass lacrosse player Brian Jacovina has been named an assistant coach at Rutgers. The former Minuteman middie was an assistant at St. John's for the last four seasons and joins new Scarlet Knights head coach Brian Brecht in Piscataway. Terry Foy's story says:

"Jacovina will handle offensive duties for Brecht. Brecht says he knows Jacovina after recruiting him as an assistant at Loyola and working summer camps with him while Jacovina was at UMass."
