Former UMass rowing standout Kendall Bennett joins the program's staff for the 2013-14 season as a graduate assistant following five years of competing for the Minutewomen. Bennett is a two-time Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference performer (2012 & 2013) who was a member of a variety of boats at UMass, including the 1X, 2X, Quad and Varsity 8+.

Bennett began her collegiate career in 2008-09 as a freshman at UMass and earned a seat on the Varsity 8+ by her junior year. During her final year as a graduate student in 2012-13, the Stoughton, Mass., native teamed with Michaela Streitfield to earn gold in the Pair at the Knecht Cup. In addition to her athletic success, Bennett received a pair of nods on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (2012-13).
