AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts junior goalkeeper Dean Linden has been named Summit Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league on Tuesday.
Linden continued his strong beginning to the season, recording four saves, including a perfectly-read penalty kick save to keep UMass Lowell off the board. The Westford, Mass. native secured his first clean sheet of the season, and brought his career total to four. This season Linden is up to total to 24 total saves with a 72.7 save percentage, allowing just 1.8 goals per contest.
