Wadas Named Summit Offensive Player Of The Week

AMHERST, Mass. – Univeristy of Massachusetts sophomore midfielder Thomas Wadas has been named Summit Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the league on Tuesday.
The Ludlow, Mass. native stared in the Minutemen's home opener victory over No. 24 UConn, netting a pair of goals in Massachusetts 3-1 victory. Wadas opened the contest with his first goal just 45 seconds into the contest, and found the back of the net again in the 11th minute, which proved to be the game winner. Wadas has already scored more this season than he did in his freshman campaign, and secured his first career brace.
