The duo impressed in a 12-6 win over UMass Lowell
AMHERST, Mass. – Following strong performances in Wednesday's win over UMass Lowell, Kassidy Morris and Sienna Diglio have earned MAC weekly awards, as announced on Tuesday. Morris was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, with Diglio garnering Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Morris finished with seven points (five goals, two assists) in UMass' 12-6 win over the defending America East co-champion River Hawks. She tallied five points (three goals and two assists) in the second half alone, as the Minutewomen outscored the River Hawks 8-1 in the final 30 minutes to turn a 5-4 halftime deficit into a 12-6 win.
