Three Program Records Fall As Massachusetts Men Track Competes At IC4L Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team had a big weekend at the IC4L Championships in Boston, Mass. on Sunday, with the Minutemen setting three program records on the day.
Highlights from Competition:
- Jason DeJesus (4th) and Tyler Fortune (5th) placed back-to-back in the men's 60m with times of 6.85 and 6.86, respectively.
- Godot Gaskins placed fourth in the men's 200m with a time of 21.37. Godot's preliminary time of 21.28 broke the indoor program record.
- Gaskins also claimed gold in the men's 400m with a time of 47.33, also breaking the program record.
- Colin Kirn placed sixth in the men's 800m with a finish of 1:53.09.
- Tyler Medeiros claimed seventh in the men's 1k with a finish of 2:28.41.
- Collin Catherwood claimed gold in the men's 3k with a finish of 8:06.65, breaking a school record.
- Liam Ouellette placed sixth in the men's 5k crossing the finish line in 14:41.91.
- Kailas Ciatto, Michael Sanchez, Colin Kirn and Collin Catherwood combined to run a 9:49.78 in the men's DMR, claiming gold.
- Elijah Wolinski scored in the men's long jump with a leap of 22'1.75", claiming eighth place.
- Hunter Feitel placed sixth in the men's pole vault with a clear of 15'5".
- Aiden Donovan placed seventh in the men's shot punt with a toss of 50'6.75".
- Matthew Acquah claimed sixth in the women's triple with a jump of 47'5".
