Massachusetts Men’s Track and Field Competes at Harvard Classic and Terrier Invite

BOSTON, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team competed at the Harvard Invitational in Cambridge, Mass. on Friday, followed by multiple medalists at the Terrier Invitational in Boston, Mass. on Saturday.
Highlights from Competition:
Harvard Invitational:
- Elijah Wolinski secured bronze in the men's heptathlon with a total score of 4,912. Wolinski claimed the top spot in the long jump with a leap of 21'11.5", while also placing in the top-five in the 60m hurdles (4th – 8.41), 1k (4th - 2:53.51) and pole vault (5th – 13'1.5"). Quinn Hardt rounded out the top eight with 4048 points, including a first-place finish in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.20 and runner up honors in the 60m dash (7.03), long jump (20'5.25") and high jump (6'5").
Terrier Invitational:
- Chamberlain Guthrie earned bronze in the men's long jump with a leap of 22'6.25". Owen Stevens had the seventh-best jump with a distance of 22'0.75.
- Matthew Acquah claimed silver in the men's triple jump with a hop-skip-and-jump of 48'8.75".
- Owen Stevens rounded out the top-10 of the men's high jump with a clear of 6'2.75".
