BOSTON, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team competed at the Scarlet and White meet on Saturday in Boston.Â
Highlights from Competition:Â
Massachusetts returns to action to compete in the BU Terrier Invitational at the BU Track & Tennis Center on Jan. 30 and the Harvard Invitational at the Gordon Indoor Track on Jan. 31.
Highlights from Competition:Â
- Hunter Feitel placed sixth in the men's pole vault, clearing a height of 14'9''. Elijah Wolinski rounded out the top 10 with a height of 14'3.25''.
- Tory Stuckey narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the men's high jump, clearing 6'4'' for a fourth place finish. Owen Steven's tied for seventh-best with a height of 6'2''.
- Aiden Donovan's throw of 48'6'' in the men's shot put was good enough for ninth-best.
- Quinn Hardt rounded out the top-10 of the men's long jump with a leap of 22'0.25''.
- Aaron Fishler placed seventh in the men's weight throw with a toss of 52'5.25''.
- Cyrus Hansen ran the seventh-fastest time in the men's 5k, crossing the finish line in 14:37.14.
- Corey Sanders took fifth in the men's 500m run, finishing in 1:04.67.
- Quinn Hardt claimed silver in the men's 60m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.04.
- Jason DeJesus took sixth in the men's 60m dash finals with a time of 6.92.
- Colin Kirn finished in sixth place in the men's 800m run, running in 151.34.
- Tyler Mederios rounded out the top-10 in the mens 1k, finishing in 2:29.18.Â
- Godot Gaskins claimed gold in the men's 200m dash, crossing the finish line in 21.46.
