Pair of First-Place Finishes Paces Minutewomen Track & Field at New England’s

AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts women's track and field team had a spectacular performance at the 2025 NEICAAA Indoor Championships this past weekend, as the Minutewomen took home two gold medals at The Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

Highlights from Competition:
- Bridget Lee claimed gold in the women's long jump with a leap of 19'0.75", also marking the seventh-best jump in program history. Grace Hanafin secured fourth-place jumping 18'1", and Shakira Cadet rounded out the top-eight with a distance of 17'11.5".
- Gabrielle Bilong placed sixth in the women's triple jump, hop-skip-jumping a distance of 37'5.25."
- Courtney Rowland earned gold in the women's high jump, clearing 5'8.75. Tesaira Williams also scored, securing a tie for seventh jumping 5'4.5".
- Ella Bosselman (6th) and Kaylie Dalgar (7th) placed back-to-back inside the top seven in the women's mile, running in times of 5:07.75 and 5:10.28, respectively.
- Tesaira Williams claimed fifth in the women's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.91. Katelyn Gorgenyi also scored, placing eighth in a time of 9.14.
- Sadai Headley-Mawasi claimed gold in the women's 400m dash with a time of 55.03. Ali Murphy also secured a top-five finish, placing fifth with a time of 57.80.
- Faith Richardson secured bronze in the women's 60m dash, crossing the finish line in 7.67.
- Salma Boukhtam ran the fourth-fastest time in the women's 1K, finishing in 2:59.88.
- Rylee Davis claimed sixth in the women's 3K with a time of 10:12.05.
