Minutewomen Down Bonnies In Double-Digits, 81-54

Yamani McKayle matched career-high with 21 points
AMHERST, Mass. -- Massachusetts (13-10, 8-4 A-10) women's basketball earned a dominant 81-54 win over St. Bonaventure (5-18, 1-11 A-10) on Wednesday night. The Minutewomen held the advantage since the early minutes of the first quarter and led by as many as 29 points in the impressive showcase. Â
Yahmani McKayle led the way for UMass, tying her season-high in points with 21. The freshman guard went 7-of-12 from the field and 5-of-8 beyond the arc, while posting four rebounds and five assists across the contest. Â
Allie Palimeri put up 12 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Minutewomen in 35 minutes on the court.Â
Megan Olbrys was the third Minutewomen to reach double digits, knocking down 10 points and leading the squad in assists with 8. Â
