Massachusetts Men’s Track and Field Competes at Brown Invitational

AMHERST, Mass. -- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team had a couple standout performances this weekend at the Brown Invitational in Providence, R.I. on Saturday.

Highlights from Competition:
  • Aaron Fishler placed sixth in the men's weight throw with a toss of 50'. 
  • Brennan Ibbitson claimed a fourth-place finish in the men's shot put with a throw of 44'3.5".  
  • Chris Scalia took gold in the men's 500m run with a time of 1:06.87.

Massachusetts returns to action next weekend to compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship in Virginia Beach, VA on Feb. 28 – March 1.
