Massachusetts Claims Convincing 92-74 Win Over Brown In Exhibition Action

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Massachusetts basketball claimed a convincing 92-74 win over Brown in exhibition action on Sunday evening at Pizzitola Sports Center. The Minutemen had five players score in double figures and shot 51.9 percent from 3-point range as a team.
Marcus Banks Jr. led the way for the Minutemen in their first dress rehearsal of the season, scoring 24 points while shooting a perfect 7-of-7 from deep. The graduate student also tallied two steals and two assists on the evening.
Senior Daniel Hankins-Sanford was productive, totaling 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting from the field. Leonardo Bettiol, Danny Carbuccia and K'Jei Parker each tallied 10 points, shooting a combined 46.4 percent as a group. Carbuccia recorded a team-high five assits in his collegiate debut.
Dimitri Clerc totaled six points and a team-high two blocks on 16 minutes of action.
The Bears were led by Adrian Uchidiuno who scored 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field.
