Men’s Basketball MAC Schedule Announced

AMHERST, Mass. – The Mid-American Conference announced its conference basketball schedule on Wednesday as the Minutemen face each conference opponent twice. The 22 conference contests round out UMass' schedule, to go with its 10 nonconference games. The season begins on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Troy.
UMass will play four conference games before the start of the new year, beginning at Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The Minutemen then host Western Michigan the following Wednesday while traveling to Kent State on Saturday, Dec. 12 and hosting defending MAC Champion Akron on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
UMass opens 2027 on Saturday, Jan. 2 by hosting Ball State before a trip to Buffalo and Ohio on the following Tuesday and Saturday (Jan. 5 and 9).
The Minutemen return home for four of the next five games, welcoming Toledo in a rematch of the MAC Semifinals (Tuesday, Jan. 12), Central Michigan (Saturday, Jan. 16), Ohio (Saturday, Jan. 23), and Miami (OH) (Tuesday, Jan. 26) in the first meeting between the Minutemen and RedHawks since the MAC Quarterfinals.
January ends with a trip to Akron on Saturday, Jan. 30 while February begins at Central Michigan on Feb. 2.
February includes home conference games against Kent State (Tuesday, Feb. 9), Eastern Michigan (Saturday, Feb. 13), Buffalo (Tuesday, Feb. 23) and Bowling Green (Saturday, Feb. 27). There are also road matchups at Ball State (Tuesday, Feb. 16) and Western Michigan (Saturday, Feb. 20) sprinkled in between.
The Minutemen begin March, and close out the regular season at Toledo (Tuesday, Mar. 2) and Miami (OH) (Friday, Mar. 5).

- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 14" x 6" x 14"

Small clutch bags no larger than 5" x 8" (these are not required to be clear)
- All other bags are prohibited but exceptions will be made for medically necessary items and diaper bags or other childcare-related bags, which are subject to inspection upon entry

There will be no in-venue storage for prohibited bags
