Before UMass:
- Earned MAC All-Freshman team recognition.
- Appeared in all 33 games, making 27 starts during his freshman campaign.
- Averaged 6.8 points, 6.3 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 43.5 percent (93-of-214) from the field.
- Led the team with 207 assists, good for eighth in program history, while adding 33 steals.
