Krysta Breaks School Record On Day Two of NEICAAA Championship

WORCESTER, Mass.- Natalie Krysta set a new school record in the discus as the women's track and field team completed day two of the NEICAAA Championship in Worcester on Saturday afternoon. The mark of 157' 7" also earned Krysta a gold medal in the event.

- The 4x800m team consisting of Rebekah James, Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio, Rylee Shunney, and Elise O'Leary earned silver with a time of 9:06.34.
- Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio placed fifth in the 1500m with a time of 4:31.42.
- Sarah Witt took sixth in the 800m, crossing the line at 2:15.61.
- Gabriella Pagnini's toss of 139' 1" was good for sixth in the discus.
- Madelyn Bishop claimed sixth in the shot put with a toss of 41' 3.75".
- Rylee Davis earned a point in the steeplechase after coming in eighth with a time of 11:37.41.
