Massachusetts Tennis Hosts Senior Day Against Saint Joseph’s

The Minutewomen celebrate two-member senior class at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts tennis team hosts Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's University for Senior Day on Saturday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at the Mullins Center Tennis Courts. Graduate students Dylan Cannon and Anna Napadiy will be honored prior to Saturday's contest.
In addition, the program will recognize alumnae in attendance for its Flagship 50 celebration, prior to the match.
Last Time Out
Massachusetts dropped a non-conference match to LIU last Saturday night, 4-1, on the road. Thamonpan Jonglertrakul picked up the lone singles point for the Minutewomen with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over her opponent.
Scouting Saint Joseph's
The Hawks hold a 5-6 overall record, including a 0-3 record in the A-10, after falling, 6-1, at Drexel on Thursday. SJU has a 0-4 record on the road.
Since April 23, 2010, the Minutewomen and Hawks have met seven times, with UMass holding a 7-0 advantage. On April 13, 2010, the two programs met for a neutral site contest in St. Louis, Missouri, with Massachusetts winning 4-1. UMass and Saint Joseph's met last season in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as the Minutewomen swept the Haws, 4-0.
Weekly Awards Sweep X2
After posting a 4-0 weekend, going 2-0 in both doubles and singles play, Senli was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week on February 7, before garnering the laurel on March 1 with a 3-1 overall performance, going 1-1 in doubles and 2-0 in singles.
Hack earned A-10 Performer of the Week on March 1, marking the first weekly award of her career. She went 4-0 overall, including 2-0 in both doubles and singles competition.
The duo swept the weekly honors again on March 28, as Hack earned A-10 Performer of the Week and Senli tabbed A-10 Rookie of the Week. It marked the second weekly accolade for Hack and third for Senli.
