Gaskins Named Atlantic 10 Rookie Of The Week

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts men's track and field's Godot Gaskins has been named this week's Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon. The accolade marks the first of Gaskin's outdoor track and field career at UMass.
Gaskins set the UMass school record in the 400 meter dash in 46.84 seconds at the Commonwealth Invitational this past Saturday. The Marblehead, Mass. native's performance was good for a first-place finish in the event and the best time in the Atlantic 10 in the event.
