Massachusetts Baseball Unveils 2024 Schedule

Minutemen open up campaign with road series at Bucknell on February 23-25.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts baseball and head coach Matt Reynolds reveled the team's 2024 season schedule on Thursday. A 52-game slate lies ahead for the Minutemen, starting off the season with a road series against Bucknell on February 23-25.
After the season opening series, UMass heads to Charlottesville, Virginia, for a three-game series against Virginia. From there, the Minutemen will make a stop in Elon, North Carolina, for a three-game series against Elon (March 8-10), before hosting Holy Cross for a neutral site contest at Springfield College on March 12.
Massachusetts begins a 16-game road stretch, visiting Citadel from March 15-17 first. A trip to Norfolk, Virginia, to take on Norfolk State (March 19) and to Salisbury, Maryland, to face University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) (March 20) will be on the docket, before the Minuteman face Seton Hall for three games (March 22-24) to close out the week.
UMass travels to UAlbany for a mid-week matchup on March 26 and opens Atlantic 10 Conference play at VCU (March 28-30). The Minutemen face in-state rival Northeastern for the opening round of the Beanpot Championships on the road on April 2 and concludes the road stretch with a three-game series against Rhode Island (April 5-7). The Beanpot Championship concludes on April 9 with a neutral-site contest, before jumping back into league competition on April 12-14, hosting Fordham at Earl Lorden Field for the team's official home opener.
The Minutemen welcome non-conference opponent Sacred Heart to Amherst on April 17, before heading to George Mason for three contests April 19-21. UMass travels to non-conference foes UConn on April 23 and Siena on April 24, and conclude the month at home, hosting Saint Joseph's for a three-game series (April 26-28).
Massachusetts starts May with five games at the Earl, beginning with a midweek contest against Quinnipiac on May 1. UMass returns to conference play with three games against St. Bonaventure (May 3-5), before finishing its homestand against UMass Lowell on May 7. The Minutemen make a quick trip to Stonehill on May 8, and embark on its final regular season road trip from May 10-12 at George Washington and one non-conference game at Fairfield (TBD). Massachusetts caps off the season with a home series against Saint Louis on May 16-18 to finish out league competition.
The Atlantic 10 Championships will be held on May 21-25 in Tysons, Virginia, at Capital One Park.
