Recinos Tabbed To ECAC Division I Women’s Soccer All-ECAC First Team

Recinos is one of 12 student-athletes to be named to the first team.
AMHERST, Mass. – Junior midfielder Bella Recinos of the University of Massachusetts women's soccer team tabbed a spot on the 2023 ECAC Division I Women's Soccer All-ECAC First Team, as announced by the Eastern College Athletic Conference on Thursday afternoon.
The Winter Park, Florida, native started in 17 of 18 games for the Minutewomen this season, accumulating 1,247 minutes on the pitch. She led the team in points (19), goals (7) and assists (5), while also registering a team-high 35 shots, including a team-best 20 shots on goal. The Winter Park, Florida, native, tallied a team-leading four game-winning goals on the year, tying for second in the A-10 and 75th in the nation. Her 19 points ranked third in the conference, with her seven goals tying for third in the league. Recinos recorded a career-high four points with one goal and a career-best matching two assists, against Loyola Chicago (10/1) to be selected as the A-10 Offensive Player of the Week. She also dished out two assists in the 5-0 shutout victory at Davidson (9/24).
Earlier this season she earned Atlantic 10 Midfielder of the Year honors and placed her name on the A-10 All-Conference First Team. Recinos was also selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Second Team.
The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-four-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III.
