Massachusetts Indoor Track And Field Schedule Revealed

UMass will kick off the season at the UConn Tri-Meet on December 7th and 8th.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts track and field team has announced its upcoming 2023-24 indoor schedule, which will begin on Thursday, December 7, as the teams head to the UConn Tri-Meet in Storrs, Connecticut.
Following the UConn Tri-Meet, UMass will host their only home meet of the year, The UMass Amherst Winter Opener, at the TRACK at New Balance on Sunday, January 14. The TRACK at New Balance will be a frequent location for UMass this winter as the squads will compete there for the UML River Hawk Invite, hosted by UMass Lowell, on Friday, January 26 through Saturday, January 27, and return to the venue for the New England Championships at the end of the year on March 1-2.
The Minutemen and Minutewomen will be in Boston three more times as Boston University will host a trio of meets throughout the indoor season. First will be the Battle in Beantown on Saturday, January 20, followed by the BU Terrier Invite on January 26-27. Rounding out the BU meets will be the Scarlet and White Meet, which is open to qualified team members on Saturday, February 3 and the Valentine Invitational on Friday, February 9 through Saturday, February 10. All Boston University hosted meets will take place at their Track and Tennis Center.
Outside of the TRACK and BU, UMass will compete at Harvard for the Harvard Elite Meet on Friday, February 2, for qualified team members, as well as URI for the URI Pre-Conference Speed and Power Meet on Saturday, February 10. The Minutemen and Minutewomen will then head to Virginia Beach for the Atlantic 10 Championships on February 23-24.
