AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts swimming and diving team will be hosting Fordham on Saturday, Jan. 28 as they embark on their final regular season meet.

Home Sweet Home
The Minutemen and Minutewomen competed in their only other home meet of the season on Dec. 3, 2022, when the women's team bested both Binghamton and Vermont, while the men's team fell to Binghamton.

In The Record Books
At this past weekend's Tate Ramsden Invitational, the Minutemen saw Andrew Bell record a 359.65 in the 3-meter dive, the No. 2-best score in the event in program history. Wilson Dubois also entered his name in the top 10 in the 1650-yard freestyle, clocking in at 15:49.77 to win the event. For the Minutewomen, Anna Kwon bettered her No. 7 all-time program-best time in the 200-yard butterfly, swimming a 2:04.64 in the event.

Rookie Of The Week
Andrew Bell was titled Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week this past week for his performances at the Tate Ramsden Invitational. Bell swept the men's dives this weekend, winning both the 1-meter dive (320.25) and 3-meter dive (359.65). Bell's 3-meter dive performance is good for No. 2 all-time in program history, as well as the current top score in the conference in the event.

On The Podium
For the Minutewomen, Summer Pierce took second place in the 100-yard freestyle in 55.02 seconds. Beatriz Olivieri clocked in a 1:55.85 in the 200-yard freestyle, good for third place in the event, in addition to a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.88). The 200-yard medley relay team of Megan Mitchell, Maggie Desmond, Pierce, and Caroline Mahoney recorded a time of 1:47.08 on the day, good for third place. Olivia Mozoki swam to second place in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:29.61. Emma Petrovich captured first place in the 1-meter dive, recording a score of 284.75. Moulton swam the 100-yard freestyle in 54.92 to win the event. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Pierce, Olivieri, Desmond, and Mahoney took first in 3:32.08. In the 50-yard freestyle, Desmond took third place in 24.13 seconds. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Ashley Calderon, Kirsten Ardis, Mahoney, and Desmond was the runner up in the event, recording a time of 1:36.68.

For the Minutemen, Jake Bailey recorded a 50.73 second finish in the 100-yard butterfly to take second place in the event. Sam Haddad recorded a second-place finish in 200-yard breaststroke in 2:09.31. The 200-yard medley relay team of Noah Witt, Jack Artis, Bailey, and Sammy Quigg finished the event in 1:35.01, good for second place. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of Grant Beebe, Juan Montori, Beau Bengston, and Quigg swam to third place in 1:26.96. Andrew Bell was victorious in the 1-meter dive on the day, scoring a 320.25.

Looking Ahead
The Minutemen and Minutewomen will head to the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio for the Atlantic 10 Championship meet on Feb. 15-18.
