Massachusetts Track & Field Announces 2022 Outdoor Schedule

The teams will begin their outdoor campaigns at UCF on March 18-19.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts has announced its upcoming 2022 outdoor schedule, which will begin when the Minutemen and Minutewomen head to Orlando, Florida for UCF's Black & Gold Invitational on March 18 and 19. On March 25 and 26, the teams travel to Raleigh, North Carolina to compete in the Raleigh Relays at NC State.
UMass will host its home opener against Holy Cross, Merrimack, Hartford, and Assumption on April 3. The teams will then be off to Providence, Rhode Island on April 8 and 9 and split squads to compete in the Ocean State Invite and the Brown Invitational.
The UMass Multi Meet will be held from April 13 and 14, and the whole team will be back in action at home on April 16 for a meet against WPI, Vermont, Bryant, Northeastern and Boston University, as well as the Rhode Island women's squad.
The following weekend, April 22 and 23, the teams will split once again, with some going to the Virginia Challenge at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and others going to the Holy Cross Invite at Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The teams will end their home schedule with a meet against New Hampshire, Vermont, UMass Lowell and Dartmouth on April 30.
UMass will kick off its championship season at the Atlantic 10 Championships on May 7 and 8, which will be hosted by VCU in Richmond, Virginia. New England Championships will be held on May 13 and 14 in New Britain, Connecticut.
