AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts men's basketball team is set to head to Olean, N.Y. for a Wednesday night matchup at St. Bonaventure. The Minutemen take on the Bonnies at 7 p.m. on ESPN+ from the Reilly Center.

Protecting The Rock
The Minuteman starting backcourt dished out all 18 of UMass' assists in Saturday's win over Saint Joseph's while committing just two combined turnovers. Noah Fernandes led the way with nine assists and one turnover while Rich Kelly and T.J. Weeks added five and four, respectively.

Minutemen From Range
UMass ranks ninth nationally in 3-point field goal percentage at .387 and sits 12th nationally in 3-point field goals per game with 10.1. The Minutemen lead the Atlantic 10 in both categories in addition to leading the league in 3-point field goals made. UMass has three active players shooting better than 40-percent from deep, led by Rich Kelly's .486 clip on the year with a .490 mark in league play.

Steady's Start
Michael Steadman got off to a hot start against Saint Joseph's on Saturday, scoring 11 of the first 13 UMass points on his way to finishing with a game-high 19 points. Steadman made his first five shots from the field, including his first 3-pointer of the season during the run and finished the day 9-of-14 from the field.

Buttrick's Boards
Trent Buttrick averaged a double-double last week with 14.0 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per contest. The graduate grabbed a new career-high 11 rebounds against George Washington on Wednesday and has recorded eight or more rebounds in five of his last 10 games. Over the last 10, Buttrick is averaging 11.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Back-To-Back Road Wins
The Minutemen have won consecutive games on the road with a Jan. 26 win over La Salle before picking up a 78-67 win at Rhode Island on Feb. 5. In the last two games away from the Mullins Center, UMass is outscoring opponents 77.5 to 69.

The Commonwealth Kid
Noah Fernandes leads the Minutemen in both scoring and assists and ranks 19th nationally in assists per game at 5.4. The junior also holds a 2.34 assist to turnover ratio to rank second in the A-10 and top-50 in the country. Fernandes has posted scoring outputs of 18 or more in seven games and finished in double figures in 16-of-19 contests.

From The Line
UMass averages 20 free throws per game and is shooting just under 75-percent from the stripe on the year. The Minutemen have attempted 26 or more free throws in seven games with 20 or more in 10 contests. UMass ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in both free throws made and third in free throws attempted.

Exclusive Company
Rich Kelly became the 11th active DI player with 1,500 or more career points and 500 or more career assists as he recorded his 500th career assist in the home win over the Billikens. Kelly ranks 31st in career assists among active leaders and has made the 31st-most 3-point field goals with 281 in his career.
