Massachusetts Baseball Reveals 2023 Schedule

Minutemen open up campaign on March 1 at Central Connecticut State.
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts baseball and head coach Matt Reynolds announced the team's 2023 regular season schedule on Tuesday afternoon. A 50-game slate lies ahead for the Minutemen, starting off the season on the road against Central Connecticut State on March 1.
After the season-opener, the Minutemen will head to Annapolis, Maryland, for a three-game series against Navy. From there, UMass will make two stops in North Carolina for a three-game series against UNC Asheville (March 10-12) and one game against Gardner-Webb (March 15). A trip to Philadelphia on March 18-19, for a three-game series against Penn will be on the docket, before Massachusetts faces in-state rival Holy Cross on March 21 and UConn on March 22. UMass closes out its road stretch with a three-game matchup at Wichita State (March 24-26).
The Minutemen open their home slate at Earl Lorden Field against UAlbany on March 28 before hitting the road to open conference play at Saint Louis (March 31-April 2).
Massachusetts returns to the Earl for four games to begin the month of April, starting with the opening round of the Beanpot against Boston College on April 4 and concluding with three against Davidson (April 7-9). The Beanpot Championship concludes on April 11 with a neutral-site contest, before jumping back into league play on April 14-16, hosting Richmond in Amherst. The Minutemen travel to Bridgeport, Connecticut, to face Sacred Heart (April 19), before heading to Saint Joseph's (April 21-23) for three games. Massachusetts will host non-conference opponents Hartford on April 25 and Siena on April 26, and concludes the month on the road at Saint Bonaventure's (April 28-30).
UMass begins May with a road contest at Quinnipiac (May 3), before returning home for three against Rhode Island (May 5-7). The Maroon and White make a quick trip to UMass Lowell on May 9, and welcome Stonehill to the Earl on May 10. Massachusetts will embark on its final regular season road trip from May 12-14 at Fordham, and caps off the season with one non-conference game against Fairfield (May 16) and a three-day trip to Dayton on May 18-20, to round out league play.
The Atlantic 10 Championship will be held on May 23-27 in Richmond, Va.
