CONWAY, S.C. - The University of Massachusetts men's basketball team will play three games in four days at the Myrtle Beach Invitational this week. The Minutemen begin play on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. against Colorado on ESPNU and will play again on Friday against either Texas A&M or Murray State.

Myrtle Beach Invitational
The Myrtle Beach Invitational is an eight-team, 12-game bracketed tournament and features six schools that posted winning records last season with five advancing to postseason play. The invitational also features Boise State, Charlotte, Loyola Chicago, and Tulsa.

Bench Boost
The Minutemen rank 13th nationally in bench points per game with 43 per contest through two played. Isaac Kante leads UMass off the bench with 13.0 points per game while Dyondre Dominguez has averaged 10.5 per contest. UMass produced 46 of its 94 points in the opener against CCSU off the bench led by Dominguez's 15 and Kante's 13. The Minutemen scored 39 of 55 points off the bench against Towson with Kante and Matt Cross each chipping in 13.

Offensive Rebounds
UMass averages 15 offensive rebounds per game to lead the Atlantic 10 and rank 35th nationally in the category. Brandon Martin averages 3.0 offensive boards per contest to lead the Minutemen while Isaac Kante has hauled in 2.5 offensive rebounds per night.

Long Time, No See
The Minutemen and Buffaloes meet up on Thursday for the first time since the 1997-98 season. UMass holds a 2-1 all-time record against Colorado with the first meeting coming in 1989-90. UMass will matchup with a first-time opponent in the second round in either Texas A&M or Murray State.

Road Trip
UMass plays its next five games away from the Mullins Center beginning with three at the Myrtle Beach Invitational. The Minutemen follow the three neutral site games with road games at USF and Harvard on Nov. 29 and Dec. 2, respectively, before returning home to take on UAlbany on Dec. 5 as part of two straight in Amherst.
