MGM Basketball Hall of Fame Classic Tickets on Sale Now

AMHERST, Mass. – With the season opener now just two months away, Ttckets for the 2026 MGM Basketball Hall of Fame Classic on Sunday, Dec. 6 at MassMutal Center in Springfield are now on sale. The classic features UMass against Wake Forest along with Brown against Central Connecticut State.

The Minutemen are 1-1 all-time against the Demon Deacons, and will face Wake Forest for the first time since the 1996-97 season, a 71-47 loss on the road. UMass and Wake Forest met the year prior, 60-46, during the Minutemen's Final Four season. The 2026-27 UMass season begins on Monday, Nov. 2 at defending Sun Belt Conference Champion Troy, with a matchup against Boston College later that week on Friday, Nov. 6 at TD Garden in Boston. The home opener is set for Wednesday, Nov. 11 against UMass Lowell.
