AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts men's basketball team heads to Philadelphia, Pa. for a Wednesday night matchup at La Salle. The Minutemen take on the Explorers at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

Minutemen From Range
UMass ranks inside the top-10 nationally in both 3-point field goal percentage (4th, .402) and 3-point field goals per game (9th, 10.6). The Minutemen lead the Atlantic 10 in made shots from range and 3-point field goals (190) made in addition to ranking 18th nationally in the category. UMass has made 10 or more 3-pointers in 11 games this season, including a program-record 17 in the overtime win over UNC Greensboro (11/19).

Sharpshooters
The Minutemen have five active players shooting 40-percent or better from behind the arc, led by Rich Kelly (.506) and C.J. Kelly (.440). The pair ranks inside the top-seven in the Atlantic 10, with Rich Kelly tied for the league league in percentage from 3-point land. Noah Fernandes is 14th in the A-10 as well at .417.

From The Line
UMass averages 20.2 free throws per contest and is shooting just over 74-percent from the stripe on the year. The Minutemen have attempted 26 or more free throws in six games with 20 or more in nine contests. UMass ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in both free throws made and free throws attempted.

Exclusive Company
Rich Kelly became the 11th active DI player with 1,500 or more career points and 500 or more career assists on Thursday as he recorded his 500th career assist in the home win over the Billikens. Kelly ranks 29th among active players with 503 career assists and ranks 29th in 3-point field goals made with 272.

The Commonwealth Kid
Noah Fernandes leads the Minutemen in both scoring an assists and ranks 32nd nationally in assists per game at 5.2. The junior holds a 2.24 assist to turnover ratio to rank 60th among the national leaders and has the 61st most assists in the country. Fernandes has posted scoring outputs of 18 or more in seven games and finished in double figures in 14-of-16 contests.

The Schedule Ahead
UMass plays three of its next four games at home following Wednesday's matchup at La Salle. The Minutemen host George Mason on Sunday, Jan. 30 before hitting the road to take on Rhode Island the following weekend.
