Akimova, Hack and Jonglertrakul were all in action at Princeton on Friday.

PRINCETON, N.J. – Three members of the University of Massachusetts tennis program were in action on Friday at the ITA Super Regionals, held in Princeton, New Jersey on the campus of Princeton University.

Polina Akimova dropped her match in the Round of 32 singles action, falling to Princeton's Neha Velaga 6-3, 6-1.

Doubles was a close battle for the Minutewomen, but ended in a 6-2, 5-7, 10-8 defeat at the hands of the No. 3-seeded Yale Bulldogs in the round of 16.
Danielle Hack and Thamonpan Jonglertrakul gave the No. 3 seeds all they could handle, but Yale, led by Jessie Gong (2019 All-American ITA National Champion), ultimately triumphed over the UMass duo.

Action for the Minutewomen will continue this weekend with several individuals competing at the Brown Classic this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 16-17, in Providence, Rhode Island.
