UMass Tennis Caps Undefeated Weekend In Doubles Action At Brown Classic

The Minutewomen won both doubles matches against URI on Sunday.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – University of Massachusetts tennis wrapped up its weekend at the Brown Classic on Sunday, closing out an undefeated weekend in doubles competition with two victories over Rhode Island.
The opening matchup vs. URI saw Anna Napadiy and Renata Farima defeat Gracie Campanella and Klara Nelander, 6-2. Dylan Cannon and Mariya Krasakova followed with another victory for the Minutewomen, besting Nadia Rajan and Paulina Loredo, 6-2.
UMass won two singles matchups, as well. Farima defeated Erin Chratian in a three-set thriller 6-4, 4-6, 10-5. In the other matchup, Napadiy made quick work of Tiara Higuchi, prevailing 6-3, 7-5.
The Minutewomen will be back in action Nov. 5-7 when the squad will travel to the Big Green Invitational.
