Saturday’s Football Fan Experiences: Youth Day & International Students Day

Youth Day and International Students Day awaits when UMass hosts Coastal Carolina
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts football will host Youth Day and International Students Day on Sat., Sept. 21 when the program squares off with Coastal Carolina at McGuirk Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
YOUTH DAY & INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DAY
Giveaway Item: Youth Goody Bags (limited number; first-come, first-served)
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM • FAN EXPERIENCE TENT • STADIUM DRIVE
The UMass Football Gameday Fan Experience Tent returns for the 2019 season. Centrally located on Stadium Drive near the main entrance to McGuirk Alumni Stadium, the fan experience tent offers a host of activities for families visiting McGuirk Alumni Stadium on Saturday, including:
10:50 AM • THE MINUTEMAN MARCH
The Minuteman March moves to its new location beginning with Saturday's game against Southern Illinois when Walt Bell's Minutemen disembark from their team buses at the Northwest corner of the Bernie Dallas Mall at 10:50 a.m.
Fans are encouraged to line the walkway from Bernie Dallas Mall to the Martin Jacobson Football Performance Center to support the team as it arrives on gameday.

11:30 AM • McGUIRK ALUMNI STADIUM & COMMONWEALTH CLUB DOORS OPEN
Doors to McGuirk Alumni Stadium and the new Commonwealth Club, located beyond the South Endzone, open 90 minutes before kickoff.
Season passes for the Commonwealth Club are sold out for the 2019 season however, fans can purchase single-game tickets to the event space beginning with the Sat., Sept. 21 game against Coastal Carolina. Passes will be available on a first come, first serve basis for $10 on gameday. Passes cannot be purchased in advance. Contact the UMass Ticket Office at 1-866-UMASS-TIX with questions regarding the Commonwealth Club.
11:45 AM • PREGAME CHEER AND DANCE PERFORMANCE
Catch the UMass Athletics Cheerleaders and the UMass Minuteman Marching Band at the Bernie Dallas Mall for a pregame performance setting the stage for the day's big event

- Moonwalk Bounce House

- Youth goody bags (limited number, first come first served)
- Poster-Making Station
- "Dress Like a Minuteman" Station
- Sam the Minuteman coloring sheets
- Concessions
- The Happy Face Painter (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
- International Students Day celebrates the diversity of cultures present at the University of Massachusetts. The entire UMass International Programs Office will be present during the day's game. Pamela Dutta, Associate Director for International Student and Scholar Success, will serve as the honorary game captain.
