Slate highlighted by second annual Hadley Chase Regatta on Sat., Oct. 13

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts rowing and head coach Jim Dietz unveiled the program's Fall 2018 schedule on Monday. The Minutewomen will participate in five regattas, highlighted in part by the second annual Hadley Chase Regatta (Oct. 13) and the 54th Head of the Charles (Oct. 20-21).

In addition to that pair of headline weekends, UMass will open the slate on Sat., Oct. 6, beginning the two-day Small Boat Challenge in Mercer, New Jersey. Also on the docket is the Head of the Fish Regatta on Sat., Oct. 27 in Saratoga Springs, New York. The Minutewomen are slated to send novice crews to Dartmouth's Green Monster Regatta during the home stretch of the season and a date for that competition will be announced once finalized.

Details are forthcoming regarding the Hadley Chase as well as special events leading up to that weekend.
