UMass keeper Peyton Ryan made some terrific saves to cap her stellar senior season including a diving stop towards the far post on a Van Der Vorst re-direct from the top of the 6-yard box in the 99th minute.
The Minutewomen had a few chances to win outright in regulation with three quality shots in the final four minutes including one in the 90th minute from Erin Doster that skittered just wide of the far post.
Overall, Mason held a slight edge in shots, 14-to-13, and a 6-to-0 advantage in corners. Ryan finished the day with five saves while her counterpart Morgan Symmers made four.
