Minutewomen welcome back alumni at the UMass Rowing Boathouse
HADLEY, Mass. - University of Massachusetts rowing hosted its second annual Alumni Day in latte April. The event welcomed former program members back to Western Massachusetts for time on the Connecticut River and the opportunity to share knowledge with the current team.
The day consisted of a lunch at the UMass Rowing Boathouse before a panel discussion with three alumni: Ellen Murray ('98), Laura Cristoph ('04) and Carly Audi ('11). It also included smaller round-table talks where the current Minutewomen split into groups and sat individually with the alumni. Following the discussions, the alumni present took to the Connecticut River with head coach Jim Dietz directing the crews from the team's launch.
