Men's Swimming Sprints Past Bryant 185-104

Minutemen capture first place in 11 events.
AMHERST, Mass. – Paced by 11 first-place finishes, the UMass men's swimming and diving team defeated Bryant 185-104 on Saturday afternoon at the Joseph R. Rogers Pool. Al Madden (100 breast, 200 breast) and Oliver Wyeth (200 back, 500 free) each led the way with multiple event wins.
Prior to the meet's start, UMass recognized its four-member senior class honoring Thomas Brennan, Alex Mesisca, Ben Sloan and Ian Wilson.
In addition to the 11 first-place finishes, the Minutemen also swept six events taking the top-three spots: 100 back, 200 fly, 50 free, 1-meter dive, 100 free, and the 3-meter dive.
The Minutemen will return to action on Jan. 20-21 at the Dartmouth Invitational in White River Junction, Vt.
