Kolovson Picks Up Victory at Henley Regatta

AMHERST, Mass. -- University of Massachusetts rowing competed in two races at the prestigious Henley Women's Regatta, in Henley on Thames, England, on Saturday.
Krysten Menks and Allanah Rubi-Mooney, also racing in the Elite 4x, comprised UMass' Elite 2x and, despite and impressive effort, fell to the Leander Boat Club, which included two-time Olympian Debbie Flood of the U.K. Senior Sam Kolovson won her opening Elite 1x race against Limbrick of Tideway Scullers. She'll face Wilson of Cambridge University WBC on Sunday.
On Sunday, Massachusetts' Kolovson in the Elite 1x, Elite 8+, Elite 4- and Elite 4x boats will race starting at 5:48 a.m. ET. For complete coverage of the Henley Women's Regatta, follow @Henley_Womens on Twitter.
